The Geography Pack

Countries, capitals, rivers and borders — read the map in reverse.

About the Geography water

Geography is Noillirk's most reliable deep water. Everyone can name France or Brazil; almost nobody reaches for landlocked African republics, tributaries of the Danube, or capitals that share a name with their country. The prompt bank rewards exactly that gap between the map in your head and the map as it actually is. That is why geography is the game's great teacher: its ladders are visible. You can literally see the crowd stacked at Paris while Vaduz waits at the bottom of the page — and once you have watched one map empty out from the top, you start reading every category the same way.

The mirror angle

Think of the atlas backwards: instead of asking 'what do I know?', ask 'what does everyone else know?' — then sail past it. The first three countries anyone names are Plankton. The ones you have to picture on a map before you can spell them are where the depth is.

Example ladders

Three real shapes from this pack's bank — the crowd's answer, and the answer that leaves the crowd at the surface:

Geography tips

  • Keep a private list of 'second-page' countries: the ones that appear in quizzes as wrong answers.
  • Capitals of small states (Vaduz, San Marino, Andorra la Vella) are Deep Cut machines.
  • Rivers, deserts and mountain ranges reward anyone who has stared at a physical map.
  • Drill the microstates and island nations as a set — they recur across prompts and nobody else stocks them.
